Lance Crawford (Hunt, TX)
Lance has followed the Red Road Medicine Path for 28 years. Along with his B.A. Lance has accumulated 3 years of graduate study in Native American History, Law, and Religious issues. Lance has received intensive training from numerous elders in Ceremony, Linguistics, Native American Legal and Religious issues, Survival Skills, and Medicine. He is currently studying to be a Nurse Practitioner.
Lance has been a Sun dancer with the Southern Ute Nation for 18 years and shares his diverse experience and the seeds given to him by Traditional Elders through example and stories: the two most powerful forms of teaching.
Lance has dedicated his life to the search for Truth and has facilitated Ceremony and Healing for 25 years so that all may learn that a major aspect of self-awareness is the inseparable relationship to each other and the Living System of our Earth.
Daniel Bejar (Tempe, AZ)
Daniel is of Mescalero Apache/Mexica descent and has been for many years a Sun Dancer and Pipe Carrier for the people. Daniel is committed to walking in a Sacred manner and being of service to others.
Daniel has served as Cultural and Spiritual Advisor for the Veterans Health Administration EEO Native American Advisory Council. For many years Daniel provided Native American Traditional Healing Ceremonies to Native American Veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs and on numerous occasions Daniel helped The Veterans Administration address critical issues that affected American Indian veterans.
Daniel’s mission is to share the healing power of his tradition with people of all nations. Daniel has found that Native American songs, stories, teachings and ceremonies can be used to bring the Sacred back into everyday life, which results in a healing balance being restored to the mind, body, heart and spirit.
